the do-everything Spider who wins with poise, polish, and glue-guy value
Braxton Hughes is a seasoned Richmond quarterback with a sturdy 6-1, 222-pound frame and a reputation for doing the little things right, from holding kicks to helping with sideline communication. In the 2025 season, Richmond’s passing game featured a balanced attack, and Hughes’ value shows up as much in steadiness and leadership as in box-score flash. He’s the kind of QB who fits a program that prizes command, toughness, and low-drama reliability—more craftsman than fireworks show.
