FIU’s long, versatile edge-body with pass-rush upside
Ty Danzy is a 6-foot-5 defensive lineman for FIU who came into the program as a versatile South Carolina recruit, and his profile still screams length, space-rushing ability, and sure-tackling upside. In FIU’s 2022 coverage, Danzy was praised as an explosive defender who can rush the passer and play in space, while team features also described him as a player the staff trusted for his confidence and steady energy. He looks like a fit for a system that values athletic, assignment-sound front-seven pieces with room to develop.
