Evan Benson is a compact UConn back with veteran size and toughness
Evan Benson is listed by UConn in the 2026 cycle as a 5-foot-8, 209-pound junior running back, which hints at a low-center-of-gravity, contact-friendly style built for short-yardage work and physical finishes[1]. Publicly available current performance data is thin, so the real takeaway is fit: he looks like a grinder who can help if a team wants toughness, patience, and pass-protection reliability more than splash-play speed[1].
