Drake’s Defensive Playmaker: Linda Sayavongchanh’s All-Around Edge
Linda Sayavongchanh was a high-impact guard for Drake, known for elite defense, playmaking, and hustle: she finished her Bulldogs career with 1,129 points, 379 assists, and 266 steals, including a school-record 105 steals in the 2003-04 season. She was a three-time All-MVC and three-time All-Defensive Team selection, which signals a player who changed games on both ends rather than just filling a box score.
