veteran Redhawks slot WR with grit, but limited recent production
Jake Holten has been a depth receiver for Southeast Missouri State, and the latest available stat line shows 9 catches for 82 yards with no touchdowns, pointing to a complementary role rather than a featured one. He brings a compact 5-foot-10, 187-pound frame, experience as a walk-on, and the kind of underdog, disciplined mentality coaches usually love, including a reputation for balancing football demands without cutting corners. If you need a reliable, hard-nosed slot option with program-first makeup, he fits; if you need explosive production, the tape-and-stats case is thinner.
