Gina Zang was a high-IQ, all-around Lehigh guard who could score, facilitate, and impact games on both ends
In the 2000-01 season, Gina Zang was a Second Team All-Patriot League guard for Lehigh, giving the Mountain Hawks 11.4 points per game and a team-high 2.19 assists per game while also ranking among the league’s top shooters at 55.3% from the field. She stood out as a steady, efficient playmaker rather than a volume scorer, with the kind of versatility and control coaches love in a backcourt leader. For a team seeking a poised guard who can run an offense, make the right read, and compete with veteran toughness, Zang is a strong fit.
