Benardrick McKinney brings NFL-sized, SEC-tested power from the middle of Mississippi State’s defense
McKinney is a big, physical linebacker who stood out at Mississippi State as a former high-school quarterback turned defensive centerpiece, giving him uncommon size, downhill urgency, and a playmaker’s feel for contact and pursuit. He was a Walter Camp All-American in college, and his profile suggests a fit for teams that value toughness, versatility, and a linebacker who can trigger fast in the run game. The key caveat: his value is more about impact presence and instincts than flashy stat-sheet production.
