experienced NIU interior lineman with a developmental edge
Battaglia was a Northern Illinois guard from 2010-13 and a three-year letterwinner at Marist High School, giving him a solid football foundation and position experience inside the line. The available record points more to a dependable, coachable trench player than a stat-sheet star, so his value is in technique, leverage, and system fit rather than flash. If you need an OL prospect with a sturdy background and a blue-collar profile, he reads as the kind of player who can fit a physical, assignment-driven front.
