Mercer’s Interior DL With Transfer Experience and Size
Obinna Nwankwo is a physically developed defensive lineman who brings a stout frame and transfer experience to Mercer, making him the kind of piece teams use to harden the middle of the defense. Publicly available reporting on his college production is limited, but his profile suggests value as a trench player who can anchor, absorb contact, and compete with veteran savvy rather than flash stats. If your team wants a dependable DL with size and upside in the run game, he’s worth a look; the main question is how much pass-rush disruption he can add at the next level.
