ball-hawking Spartans corner who made turnovers his calling card
Bené Benwikere was a difference-maker at San Jose State, finishing his college career with 214 tackles, 14 interceptions, 22 pass breakups, and a school-record-tying three picks in one game; in the 2012 season, he was named a Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week after that three-interception performance[1][7]. His profile screams playmaking and instincts, with enough versatility to support the run and enough confidence to attack the ball, which is why he became a two-time first-team all-conference corner and a fifth-round NFL draft pick[1][7].
