Physical, fast-flying defensive back with special-teams bite
Charles Pugh has been described by WVU as a talented defensive back with solid speed, a knack for flying around the field, and special-teams value; the biggest differentiator is his aggressiveness, including being labeled one of the team’s best blitzers in prior WVU coverage. However, the available public record is dated and includes a 2008 dismissal from the program, so there isn’t reliable current-season production to evaluate for a 2026 Mountaineers role. If you’re assessing fit, the profile is all about energy, versatility, and downhill edge rather than polished recent stat-sheet output.
