Blaise Butler adds veteran depth and length on Villanova’s defensive line
Blaise Butler is a long, experienced Villanova DL who profiles as a steady depth piece rather than a headline-grabber; Villanova’s roster bio describes him as a “loyal performer” who adds depth, and his listed size at 6-6 gives him the kind of frame coaches like for setting edges and disrupting passing lanes. In the 2010 season, he logged one solo tackle versus Towson, with earlier years marked by limited playing time, so the appeal here is role reliability, size, and a team-first presence more than gaudy production.
