Connor Niemiec brings projectable right-handed upside to Cornell's pitching mix
Niemiec is a right-handed pitcher from Deerfield Academy/Westfield, Massachusetts, with enough recruiting pedigree to suggest Cornell is getting a legitimate developmental arm rather than a filler roster piece.[1][3] Available profile materials point to a pitcher with starter-style runway and the kind of upside coaches like in the Ivy League: someone worth tracking for strike-throwing consistency, physical growth, and how his stuff plays against better bats.[1][2][3] The key question is fit—if your team wants a polished finished product, he may be early-stage; if you want a coachable arm with room to climb, he is the kind of pitcher to bet on.[1][3]
