Akron’s RB room is crowded, and Mark Tetzel isn’t the featured name right now
Mark Tetzel is listed as an Akron Zips running back, but the latest publicly visible depth-chart and roster snapshots point to Jordan Gant, Sean Patrick and Marquese Williams getting the clearer spotlight at RB in 2026, which means Tetzel appears to be fighting for snaps rather than carrying the offense. If you’re looking for a proven, high-volume playmaker, there isn’t enough current stat-backed evidence here yet; if you want a developmental back in a competitive room, he’s at least in the mix at a physical position where depth matters.
