Long, committed edge prospect with upside as a disruptive defender
Zach Wolfe is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound Class of 2027 defensive end from Elkhorn North who was committed to Fresno State as of April 10, 2026, giving him early value as a length-and-upside defender rather than a polished stat-sheet star. His key differentiator is frame and positional projection: at his size, he has the build to develop into a bigger, more physical presence on the edge if his pass-rush technique and strength keep progressing. If you’re looking for an athletic developmental DL with room to add mass and upside, he’s a fit; if you need an instant-impact, college-ready run stopper, the profile is less proven.[3]
