Obadiah Curtis brings veteran size, toughness, and a clear all-around role for HCU
Curtis is a 6-foot-4 senior guard for Houston Christian who gives the Huskies experienced perimeter depth and a sturdy two-way frame. In the 2024-25 season at Eastern Illinois, he averaged 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 26 games, and HCU lists him as averaging 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds early in the 2025-26 season before a season-ending setback after four games. His calling card is versatility: he has shown he can score in bursts, rebound his position, and handle physical minutes, making him a useful fit for a team that values maturity, role acceptance, and reliable hustle over flash.
