Nelson Burch brings veteran DB experience to The Citadel
Burch is a veteran defensive back with a long program history at The Citadel, including time listed at redshirt WR, redshirt RB, and senior DB, which suggests unusual versatility and a team-first willingness to adapt to whatever role the staff needed[2]. There are no available public statistics in the cited roster or ESPN game log, so his current on-field production is hard to quantify, but his value is likely tied more to experience, positional flexibility, and football IQ than headline numbers[1][2]. For a team, that makes him a depth-and-stability fit rather than a pure splash-play profile[2].
