Veteran interior anchor with Big Sky pedigree
Doug Schiess has been a sturdy, high-floor defensive tackle for Weber State, with program coverage noting he earned All-Big Sky recognition in 2021 and has logged 30+ career games for the Wildcats. In the 2022 season, he was a disruptive run-stopper who could show up in clutch moments—most memorably when he helped finish a turnover against Eastern Washington. At 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, he brings experience, leverage, and reliability inside; if you want a seasoned, no-drama trench player who understands the league, Schiess is absolutely worth a hard look.
