JJ Flores brings steady backcourt poise and a timely shot to Western Illinois
In the 2021-22 season, Western Illinois guard JJ Flores averaged 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game while appearing in 23 games, and he also delivered a memorable game-winner against Northern Kentucky in 2021, hinting at a knack for late-game composure.[2][5][7][12] At 6-foot-3, he has the size to defend multiple guard spots and the college background to fit as a low-ego, system-friendly backcourt piece rather than a volume scorer.[1][4][14] If a team values toughness, versatility, and clutch instincts over flashy box-score stuffing, he’s the kind of guard who can quietly make life easier for everyone else.[6][15]
