Lucas Matias brings reliable touchback leg and spot-on PAT work for FIU
In the 2025 season, Lucas Matias has been a low-drama, high-utility kicker for FIU: ESPN lists him with a perfect 100.0% extra-point rate, 5 points, and no field-goal attempts, while FIU’s roster/profile shows the senior from Pembroke Pines has handled kickoffs with proven distance and touchback ability. His standout trait is consistency over flash — he looks like a steady special-teams piece rather than a boom-or-bust kicker. If you want a dependable kicker with local roots and college-tested kickoff strength, he’s the kind of specialist coaches like to trust.
