Missouri DL Derrion Thomas: Redshirt Freshman with Developing Upside
Derrion Thomas is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound redshirt freshman defensive lineman at Missouri whose appeal is more about projection than production right now, as Missouri’s roster lists no statistical output yet and ESPN shows only minimal early career numbers. The key reason to care is his frame and developmental runway: he has the size base to add strength and become a disruptive interior piece, but he’s still in the early stages of proving consistency, technique, and snap-to-snap impact. He looks like a fit for a team that values long-term upside and coaching-driven growth over immediate day-one production.
