Ryan Fields is a sturdy, developing Delaware edge defender with size and early-game reps
Ryan Fields is a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end for Delaware who has already logged varsity-level experience as a redshirt freshman, including three appearances and two total tackles in his 2020-21 season. The appeal here is the frame and the developmental upside: he’s built like an edge piece, has Blue Hens experience, and profiles as a hard-nosed, rotational defensive lineman who can grow into more. He’s the kind of player a staff likes if it wants size, patience, and upside over instant fireworks.
