Sloan Barrett is a contact-first, speed-and-defense infielder flashing impact at Murray State
Barrett has been productive for Murray State in 2026, hitting .394 with 13 hits, 10 RBI, 16 runs, and 1 home run, and his 2025 Grayson College line (.337, 5 HR, 18 doubles, 21 steals) shows a versatile offensive profile built on contact, gap power, and speed.[1][7] At 5'8" and a left-handed batter, he stands out more for competitive energy, bat-to-ball ability, and multi-faceted run production than raw power, which makes him a fit for teams wanting an infielder who can set the table and pressure defenses.[1][7]
