Elijah Bennett brings power, projection, and two-way athleticism to Indiana’s infield
Bennett is a left-handed infielder with a projectable 6'3", 200-pound frame and real offensive upside, backed by high-school production that included a .394 average, 37 hits, 4 homers, and 34 RBIs as a senior. Recruit evaluations point to loud tools — notably an exit velocity up to 99.3 mph, strong infield arm strength, and top-tier raw power potential — while his background as a pitcher and corner defender suggests athletic versatility. He looks like a fit for a program willing to develop a high-ceiling bat with size, strength, and a competitive all-around profile.
