Minnesota’s ultra-brief, ultra-respected Gopher guard
In the 2020 season, Brady Rudrud was a deep-bench Minnesota guard who appeared in only a handful of games, but the bigger story is his program fit: a local Eden Prairie product, an academic standout, and a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. He wasn’t a volume-stat guy; his value was stability, professionalism, and being the kind of teammate coaches trust. If your team wants a steady, high-IQ locker-room piece more than a flashy box-score producer, Rudrud checks that box.
