Michael Rostberg brings dual-threat upside, but 2025 is all about proving he can stay healthy and efficient
Rostberg is a big-framed quarterback with proven playmaking traits: after a 2024 St. Thomas season in which he appeared in seven games, he passed for 234 yards, two touchdowns and five interceptions, while also adding a 104-yard outing against Northern Iowa and a three-rushing-touchdown game against Black Hills State in 2024.[4][1][8] His high-school résumé was louder than his college stat line, as he was a North Dakota all-state-level producer, a team captain and a reported state passing leader with 2,969 passing yards and 34 passing touchdowns in 2022, plus 10 rushing scores.[2] The fit question is less about talent than durability and consistency: he missed the 2025 season due to injury and has to translate his size, mobility and competitive edge into steadier decision-making at the next level.[7][11]
