Jerrod Jenkins brings strike-throwing, multi-inning reliability to DBU's staff
Jenkins profiles as a dependable right-handed arm for Dallas Baptist, highlighted by a 2024 stretch that included 49 strikeouts in 51.2 innings, a 6-2 record, and a 4.88 ERA, plus a 5.2-inning scoreless outing in DBU’s win over Liberty and a combined no-hitter against FIU.[6][1][5] His value is less about flash and more about poise, competitiveness, and the ability to give his team quality innings against good competition, while his Cape Cod League assignment in 2025 underscores that he has been viewed as a legitimate follow-worthy arm.[3][4]
