Jacob Gentle brings veteran local grit to UNA’s offensive line
Jacob Gentle is a Florence, Alabama product who has been in the North Alabama program for multiple seasons and has logged starts at guard and tackle, including starting in 2019 before injuries interrupted his run; UNA listed him at 6-foot-4 and 277 pounds in 2020-21, and his value has been as a reliable, position-flexible interior lineman rather than a stat-sheet star. He stands out for hometown toughness, wrestling background, and steady experience, which makes him the kind of blue-collar OL who can raise a line’s floor if healthy.
