high-IQ George Mason guard who won with academics, length, and reliability
Nick DiClementi was a 6-foot-6 guard for George Mason who played sparingly in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, but he stood out more as a glue guy than a stat-sheet star, appearing in six games in 2018-19 and four in 2017-18 with minimal minutes and production. His biggest differentiators were size for a guard, team-first role acceptance, and elite academics: he earned NABC Honors Court recognition, the Provost Scholar Athlete Award, and was cited by the program as the only George Mason men’s basketball athlete to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. If you want toughness, maturity, and low-drama professionalism, he’s exactly that kind of fit.
