UVA’s clutch, Lou Groza-caliber leg from the 2011 era
In the 2011 season, Robert Randolph was one of Virginia’s most dependable weapons, hitting 14-of-15 field goals and earning Lou Groza Award semifinalist attention, which is the kind of production that wins close games and calms coaches down. He also showed big-moment value with a game-winning kick at Indiana and a season-long 49-yard long, while Virginia’s record book still lists him among the program’s all-time field-goal leaders. For a team needing a steady, battle-tested specialist with proven clutch traits, Randolph looks like the exact kind of low-drama, high-utility kicker you want in the building.
