Robin Cepeda brings veteran trench toughness to Lafayette
Cepeda is a proven, high-motor defensive lineman for Lafayette, with a résumé that includes 28 tackles in 2015 and a three-sack breakout in 2016 after returning from an elbow injury; that combination of disruption, resilience, and toughness is exactly why he mattered to the Leopards. His differentiators are leverage, relentlessness, and the ability to flash as an interior pass rusher when healthy, plus a background as a decorated New Jersey prep lineman and honor-roll student, which hints at discipline and coachability. For a team, he looks like the kind of dependable, physical DL who can strengthen the front seven and keep showing up in big moments.
