Texas State Bobcats' Fullback Turned Baseball Standout
Jeff McVaney, a redshirt freshman fullback on the Texas State Bobcats' 2009-2010 football roster from Houston's Strake Jesuit, brings versatile athleticism but lacks recent performance data in the sport[5]. His differentiator shines in baseball, where as a senior outfielder in recent seasons, he led the team with a .324 batting average, 11 hits, five doubles, one homer, and five RBI, earning All-Southland Conference Second Team honors in 2011[1][3]. Reliable, academic-minded player (CoSIDA honors) with no noted injury history—ideal for teams seeking multi-sport toughness and leadership, though football stats are absent.
