Big-bodied Beavers back with a knack for clutch moments
Isaiah Newell’s profile is that of a downhill, contact-loving runner whose best college moment came in the 2022 season, when he scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to help Oregon State upset Oregon[11][15]. In the 2023 season, he played in all 13 games but had 25 carries for 78 yards, so the production never quite matched the physical tools[4]. At 6-foot-1, 218-plus pounds, he brings size, toughness, and red-zone usefulness, but he’s better viewed as a role fit than a volume star[3][14].
