Derwin Butler brings veteran linebacker versatility and special-teams value to Grambling State
Derwin Butler stands out as a physically active, multi-role defender whose value goes beyond tackles: his background shows experience contributing on defense and special teams, with a track record of production and adaptability at multiple stops. For a Grambling State fit, that usually means a player who can handle assignment football, bring dependable intensity, and help stabilize depth in the middle of the defense. Publicly available results do not provide current 2026 Grambling game logs or injury updates, so the best read is that he profiles as a useful, experience-based linebacker rather than a pure hype athlete.
