Montana State LB Alex Johnson brings size, run-stuffing potential, and local toughness
Alex Johnson is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound inside linebacker from Helena who has shown real snap-to-snap value for Montana State, including 15 tackles in 2021 after playing in 13 games and starting once. His appeal is physicality and length in the middle, with a profile that suggests downhill, dependable linebacker play rather than splashy stat-chasing. Because the available public data is limited and his listed production is modest, he looks more like a developmental fit for a team that values toughness, instincts, and special-teams-friendly versatility than a proven instant-impact star.
