Bert White brings veteran, playmaking safety energy to Northwestern State
In the 2013 season, Bert White was a preseason All-Southland Conference pick after posting 59 tackles, 3 pass breakups, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble in 2012, which shows a disruptive safety who can finish plays and do a little bit of everything[1]. His best differentiators are range, tackling reliability and ball disruption—he also had a career-best 12 tackles in a game at Nevada and was known as a steady returning leader on the Demons’ defense[1][2]. If a team wants a physical, experienced back-end defender who plays with production and confidence, White fits the bill[1].
