a former Texas Tech ball-hawk with Big 12 playmaking chops
Taylor Charbonnet’s Texas Tech profile points to a defensive back with real playmaking instincts: in the 2008 season, he posted 61 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 5 interceptions, 11 pass breakups and a touchdown, plus he earned both Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week and national weekly honors that year. His game reads as rangy, disruptive and opportunistic—exactly the kind of DB who can tilt field position with turnovers. If you want a secondary piece who brings intensity, feel and proven big-moment production, Charbonnet is the kind of name worth caring about.
