Alex Menth brings a high-upside left arm to SEMO
Menth is a 6-foot-5 left-handed freshman at Southeast Missouri State with a projectable frame and real swing-and-miss potential; his prep profile listed a fastball up to 89 mph, and summer-ball notes showed him working effectively with strikeouts and a 1.29 ERA in early Northwoods League action in 2026. He profiles as a developmental arm with size, lefty angle, and enough present stuff to matter quickly. If you want upside and a pitcher who can grow into more velocity and command, he’s a smart fit.
