Experienced, physical interior blocker who helps set the tone up front
In the 2025 season, Caleb Yates brought steady value to Mercer’s offensive line, anchoring the right guard spot and helping the Bears average 332.4 total yards per game. He’s the kind of OL you care about if you want reliability: experienced, strong enough to handle contact, and built to keep the offense on schedule. While his profile isn’t flashy, his repeat starting role and consistency suggest a dependable trench player who fits well on teams that value toughness, continuity, and efficient run/pass protection.
