Caden Reeves brings college-ready size to Troy’s catching mix
Reeves is a 6-foot-1, 221-pound freshman catcher at Troy, which suggests a physically mature, power-oriented frame that can handle the grind behind the plate.[2] Troy’s roster lists him as a new addition with no college stats yet, so he’s more of a projection play than a proven producer right now.[2] If you’re looking for a catcher with upside, his size is the differentiator; if you want immediate performance data, there isn’t much public evidence yet, so his value depends on how quickly his tools translate to college pitching and game-calling.[2]
