Towering 6'5" UTEP Miners Center Carries Polish hoops Legacy
Marta Dydek, the 6'5" Polish center for the UTEP Miners and younger sister of WNBA legend Margo Dydek (7'2", all-time blocks leader with 877 in 323 games), brings elite size, rebounding prowess, and shot-blocking instincts to the paint—echoing her sibling's dominance. Her international experience in pro leagues like Spain's Moguerza Real Canoe showcases veteran poise beyond her college years, with strengths in defensive anchoring and physicality. A high-motor differentiator with no major injury flags, she's an ideal fit for teams needing a rim-protecting big who elevates pick-and-rolls and stretches defenses.
