John Nguyen brings burst and multi-threat value to Montana’s backfield
John Nguyen profiles as a versatile Montana running back whose value goes beyond raw volume: in the 2024 season he was the Grizzlies’ fifth-leading receiver with 31 catches for 159 yards and also had three 100-yard rushing games, showing he can contribute as both a runner and a checkdown weapon.[1] That kind of dual-use skill set makes him appealing for teams that want a back who can stay on the field in all situations and punish defenses that overcommit to the run.[1][2]
