Tito Chikere Transfers to Louisiana After Tough 2025 Season at East Texas A&M
The 6'2", 250-lb junior defensive lineman from Houston committed to Louisiana on January 20, 2026, following a challenging 2025 campaign where East Texas A&M finished 3-9 in the Southland Conference. While specific stat leaders data is limited in available sources, Chikere's transfer signals a fresh start at a higher-profile program. His move to the Ragin' Cajuns suggests he's seeking a more competitive environment to develop his pass-rush skills and showcase his potential at the FBS level—a critical move for a player with NFL aspirations.
