San Diego DB David Hopkins: a depth-chart name with upside, not a stat-sheet star
David Hopkins is listed as a San Diego Toreros defensive back, but the available public profile shows no recorded career statistics, which suggests he’s more of a developmental or depth-piece defender than a headline producer. The intriguing part is positional value: a DB who can win with instincts, toughness, and versatility can matter even without splashy numbers. If you’re looking for a proven stat leader, he doesn’t fit that brief yet; if you want a low-drama, coachable secondary piece with room to grow, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
