Boise State DT Paul Allen: Emerging Run-Stuffer with Untapped NFL Potential
Paul Allen, Boise State's hard-nosed defensive tackle, has been a rotational force in the 2025 season, logging 18 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, and 2 sacks while anchoring the interior line against Mountain West rushers averaging under 120 yards per game allowed; his explosive first step, relentless motor, and 6'3", 295-lb frame make him a gap-plugger who wears down blockers, ideal for 3-tech roles in aggressive 4-3 schemes—watch for his stock to rise in 2026 if he bulks up and adds pass-rush polish, a Day 3 draft gem with Pro Day buzz.
