Malik Griffin brings compact, versatile juice to Elon’s backfield
In the 2023 season, Malik Griffin showed a useful all-purpose profile for Elon: 8 carries for 36 rushing yards, 1 catch for 14 yards, and 7 kick returns at 12.7 yards per return, after producing 26 carries for 95 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns plus 6 receptions for 61 yards and a receiving score in the 2022 season. He’s a smaller back with track-speed background, quick acceleration, and return-game value, which makes him more of a change-of-pace weapon than a power-volume bell cow. If a team wants burst, flexibility, and special-teams pop, he’s a sneaky fit.
