veteran UNLV snapper with a pro-level résumé and the brains to match
Rex Goossen is a dependable long snapper who has been a steady special-teams presence for UNLV, starting at the position for multiple seasons and earning 2021 Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List recognition. In the 2021 season, he suffered a season-ending special-teams injury against New Mexico, but his profile still stands out for experience, size, and discipline: he’s a former three-star recruit, an Academic All-Mountain West selection, and already earned his degree. If your team wants reliability, maturity, and low-drama consistency, Goose looks like a smart fit.
