Jack Carey is High Point’s steady left-handed bullpen weapon
In the 2026 season, Jack Carey emerged as a reliable relief arm for High Point, finishing with a 4-2 record, a 2.92 ERA, 37.0 innings, and 19 strikeouts across 19 appearances; another team release listed him at 4-1 with a 3.32 ERA over 38.0 innings, reflecting consistent run prevention and workload. He stood out for versatility and poise in leverage spots, ranking among the Panthers’ top five in ERA, wins, relief outings, and innings, and he earned CSC Academic All-District honors in 2026. Carey looks like the kind of disciplined, strike-throwing lefty that helps a staff stabilize games.
