experienced righty with proven innings, but command consistency is the swing factor
In the 2026 season, Long Beach State’s Alex Ramos is a right-handed pitcher who brings bullpen experience, with the program listing him at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds and noting he was second on the team in appearances in 2025 with 21 outings[1][4]. He’s the kind of reliever who can give you strike-throwing upside and maturity, but his 2026 results have been uneven, including several rough outings and a 0-2 record in game logs, so he looks more like a fit for a team that values depth and upside development than immediate shutdown stability[3][5][14].
