Citadel OL Justin Matherson brings size, experience, and trench value
Justin Matherson is listed on The Citadel football roster, but the available public info does not show recent stat production for an offensive lineman, which is normal for the position[1][2]. What stands out is the profile: a 6-foot-5, 290-pound interior anchor built for the Bulldogs’ physical style, where leverage, toughness, and consistency matter more than box-score noise[1]. If a team wants a dependable trench piece with SEC-ish body type for the FCS level, Matherson is the kind of low-glamour, high-utility lineman worth a close look[1][2].
